Description
Prosciutto di Parma
Prosciutto di Parma is a cured ham typical of the province of Parma; more precisely, the production area lies within 5 km south of the Via Emilia, up to an altitude of no more than 900 m, bounded to the east by the Enza stream and to the west by the Stirone stream. It is famous all over the world and stands out not only for its nutritional qualities (its only ingredients are pork and salt, with no additives or preservatives) but also for the “crown”, the mark branded only on the genuine article.
